JUDGING IN PORTO ... By Michael Calloens
On Saturday October 31st, The President of the Portuguese Dance Sport Federation Alberto Rodrigues invited me as member of Team Diablo to judge the finale of the Portugal Cup. This event, one of the most important among those organized by the Dance Sport Portuguese Federation took place in a sports complex near Porto. The participants exceeded the number of 100 couples with a very numerous quantity of young people even very young couples. The Portuguese level is unmistakably in strong evolution and the potential is important. Both in standards and in Latin, we can only note the quality of the constant work realized during these last years.
The atmosphere at the level of the spectators, the competitors and organizers were warm, friendly and sportive. I am still anxious quite particularly to thank Alberto Rodrigues, for this pleasant invitation and for his excellent organization and reception.
